The 19th World University Cross Country Championship will be hosted in Entebbe, Uganda on Saturday March 22, 2014.
The National University Sports Federation of Uganda, the Local Organizing Committee and FISU will receive student athletes, officials and guests from around the world that will converged on the Entebbe gulf, close to Victoria Lake and the Entebbe International Airport for the event.
The World University Championships have been organised since 1962 under the auspices of FISU in 53 countries across the 5 continents, and they have gathered over 59,000 participants.

Men: 10.5 km
Women: 6 km

Men’s Individual Event
Maximum eight (8) competitors per country; no more than six (6) shall be allowed to start in the race.
Women’s Individual Event
Maximum seven (7) competitors per country; no more than five (5) shall be allowed to start in the race.
Men’s Team Classification
The first four (4) finishers will participate in the team classification.
Women’s Team Classification
The first three (3) finishers will participate in the team classification.
- Each country may enter a maximum of twenty (20) persons of whom, fifteen (15) are competitors and five (5) officials.
Age Limit
The competitors must be born between January 1st, 1986 and December 31st, 1996.
